2023 Stay at Home "Momtrepeneur" (Mum/Mom) Jobs - Part 1

Yes, I just made that word up and added it to my computer dictionary!

"Momtrepeneur" or Australian spelling "Mumtrepeneur" (either way, I added both to my PC dictionary).

If you haven't put two & two together yet, it means Mum/Mom Entrepeneur.

I am a mum to a very clever but cheeky 2.5-year-old girl and the Mumtrepeneur thing is new to me also and blogging has been something I have wanted to start since I was a teenager and I'm 25 now. So why not do both, blog about it & bring you guys along with me for the journey. There are so many ideas I have been researching on what things I can do at home from my new business "FemEarth".

To get right into it, here are just some of the idea's I came across that I would like to share with you for 2023.

• Soap Making

This is a particular hobby I would like to try out and learn and if its any good I will write my own article about it including my own recipes that I create and want to share.

• Bath Salts

Anyone who enjoys taking the time to relax in the bath will be buying bath salts from you. This is definitely another I have on my personal to do list for my business. Making Bath salts is lovely and an easy way to make a penny.

This one would have to be a must have on your online store because once you have the item listed, you don't need to do anything. You create the file, upload it to your listing so when the customer purchases the file, you get paid, and they get their downloadable copy.

I have just started this myself, and I am more than happy to update my blog in the near future to let you know how it's going for me. The last 3 days I have been creating content so I can sell it on my Etsy store. Publishing listings on Etsy is easy as pie. Although, it is not FREE to sell. It is free to create a business/seller account, but listings are 20c each. The small fee comes off the price when the sale is made, so you don't actually need to pay upfront to publish the listing.

To create files which could be anything, but an example could be a one-page PDF file of a template you designed for a checklist or planner or some sort. Anything will be popular it just depends on your niche. I have been using Canva to create all of my templates, social media post's, Profile and Cover photos for my business as well as my logo. Whichever site you use to create your digital content just be sure to understand what you have rights to if you are using templates, photos etc.
